Accessibility Statement

Zane's Inc. is committed to making our website and services accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Because of who we serve, accessibility is core to our mission — not an afterthought.

Conformance Status

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the international standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

What We've Done

Keyboard navigation: Every interactive element — links, buttons, forms, the chat widget — works with keyboard only.
Screen reader support: Semantic HTML, descriptive alt text on all images, ARIA landmarks, and a live-region chat for real-time announcements.
Color contrast: All body text meets WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 or better).
Touch targets: All interactive elements are at least 44x44 pixels for users on touch devices.
Reduced motion: The site respects the operating system prefers-reduced-motion setting and disables animations accordingly.
Zoom support: The site supports pinch-to-zoom and text scaling up to 200% without layout breaks.
Skip navigation: A skip-to-content link is available to bypass repetitive navigation.
Forms: All form inputs have clear labels, error messages, and don't trigger unexpected zoom on mobile Safari.

Known Limitations

We're continuously improving. Some areas we're still working on:

Third-party embedded content (YouTube videos, PayPal checkout, Formspree forms) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA in every respect. We're working with these providers and documenting alternatives where possible.
PDF documents linked from the site (such as the Personal Release of Information form) may not be fully screen-reader compatible. If you need these documents in an alternative format, please contact us.

This site is tested with a combination of automated tools (axe DevTools, Lighthouse, WAVE), manual keyboard-only navigation, and mathematical contrast verification. We welcome feedback from screen reader users and will address any issues reported through the contact methods above.
